From Isami Kinoshtia, ACE, Chiba University, CFAP Japan Chair

Still the shock of the earthquake continues. The fear of radioactivity has not yet disappeared. We are facing an unknown threat caused by the giant earthquake, Tsunami and radioactive affection. Mostly the impact on the children becomes higher than adults.

There are many children in the disaster area that had lost their parents and other family members. At this moment, April 10th, the police have reported the count of dead people is 12985 with 14809 missing people. The number illustrates the tragic story for each family from this area. Though one month has passed, there are still a lot of missing people. It means a lot of children have been spending time without stable conditions worrying seriously about what has happened to their parents, brothers and sisters, other family members or friends.
